Not around here. I never have a problem finding the "red cap"
bottles; in fact, the auto parts place was entirely out of the "blue
cap" 5w30 when I helped a friend switch his '90 Acura Legend over to
synthetic(65k on the clock, and so much sludge I could scrape a thick
layer off the inside of the block under the valve cover with my
finger through the filler hole.)

Speaking of which(off topic!)....Acura Legends have the most
incredibly STUPID placement of both oil pan drain plug and oil
filter. That and the fact that the grease monkeys at his dealer
tightened the filter on so goddam hard I had to jack the car up, and
fit a pipe wrench(the wrap-around chain kind) around the filter, and
loosen it 1 degree or so at a time(as much as the suspension
components would allow.) Morons(they also WAY overtightened the oil
pan nut.)

I ran 15w50 this summer, decided to switch to 5w30 for the winter.
Sorry I did....

Brett
PS:Good advice on the motor flush! That stuff was
terrific...lots-o-crap came out. I'm planning to use it on the
friend's Acura to clean out the huge sludge buildup....
