Nah, cops don't chase one of Audi's best stealth examples, "it
can't be going that fast, radar must need a recal" :-)
No it's not a whine and I have no leaks.  But clearly a course of
action is to check the diff fluid level/condition to see if 
there is that mingling of fluids.  Does your noise disappear
when you back of the accelerator?
