Re: Shifting Auto Transmissions
I don't know if it's bad or not, but I do the same with my 93 90CS. I
think that the ECU will make the engine match revs, at least somewhat,
before it shifts. If you are going 40 and try to shift into first or
something, the computer will override the shifter so that you don't blow
up the engine.
BTW, are you a member of the Atlanta Audi club? I haven't been to any
meetings recently but I don't think I've seen you around.
