Hi -

At 60K miles my Audi dealer replaced my timing belt  on my 93 
100CS Quattro Wagon and found that my oil pump was leaking.  He 
claims that the oil pump casting was porous during this manufacturing 
period. I don,t know if this was a problem in the 92 model year.  I 
had him replace the pump.  23 K miles later it still leaks.  Not much 
however,(maybe 3 or 4 teaspoons in 7500 miles). Small stain on 
belly pan.  Head gaskets not seeping yet.  Will have him check when I 
go in for thermostat replacement this week.  Too, damn, cold to be 
doing this myself.
