You must of course have some way to let the ramps slide out as you
lower the car onto them. My experience is that the wheel pivots and
is further out (closer to the side of the car)when it is loaded than
when it is fully extended hanging in the air. If the stands hang up
on the concrete when you lower the car onto them they will have a side
load which of course they are not designed to handle.
