RE: Electrical gremlins (elves?): summary
Is this true on the 5000cstq also? All of the functions listed below appear
to work OK on my car except the radio on binger, which never works.

The part of the instrument cluster that has the chime sounder is a
separate box that plugs in to the rest of the instrument cluster--it's
modular so that they can use the same cluster with or without the trip
computer. There are a few tall pins that stick out of the instrument
cluster PCB, and they seem to fit very loosely into holes on the said
box...that could be where the problem is?
