ah, loma prieta stories! i rode it out a few miles
from the epicenter too. in a 100+ year old barn,
standing on a theatre lighting grid above a stage.
that is, until i grabed the pipe and swung down,
dropped and rolled across the stage, and was outside
lighting a smoke before it stopped. adrenaline is
a pretty interesting thing, quite useful. the nicotine
was to counteract it i suppose, though it's a habit
	i finally relased myself from.
