This is odd because I've experienced the same problem with a set of Yoko
AVS tires, but I found that drive for about 1 or 2 miles usually cures the
problem.  I haven't found a need to super-inflate them.  In fact they run a
fairly low 29PSI normally.

I've been told that the AVS tires are softer than the SP-8000 series.
Perhaps it could be a flukey coincidence with losing a balancing weight or
something?
