I beg to differ-the afterrun fan and aux h20 pump IS triggered by a
thermoswitch in the coolant outlet. Perhaps you're referring to the fuel
injector cooling fan. This is a separate system triggered by another
single terminal switch mounted at the back of the cylinder head. You can
change this one to a 85C unit, so this fan almost always runs for a couple
of minutes on my car.
