ok, but would you have paid $90k usd for a usa-new rs2?  probably not.
that's what the suckers cost in the uk/nz (the only rhd markets).

you don't get the cars the rest of us do, but for the cars you do get, you
pay bugger all for them.  lets see, 25k usd for a '99 a4 2.8q, or <$50k nzd.
at the dealers here, they are asking around $80k nzd or $40k usd.  the only
car tax we pay is general gst (ie vat) of 12.5%.  so we're paying about $15k
usd more than you are, and we're *much* better off than many european
countries.....
