Re: Eurolite Group Purchase
Brackets? What brackets? The Eurolights for my 200q came from Metrix
complete with bulbs, butterfly clips, and trim. All I had to make was the
wiring harness. There were no brackets required - the old lights came out
and the euros fit right in. I removed the satin trim from the side
reflectors and installed the polished trim from the DOT reflectors. I had to
drill one screw hole in each euro to mount the corner bumper trim, but
nothing else was required.
The only thing I can think of which may qualify as a "bracket" are the
metal pieces which bolt to the headlight and hold the stainless grille trim
strips. If you have to buy these, you will also need the (inordinately
expensive) plastic butterfly clips to hold the trim. You may be able to use
the ones from the old lights - they are similar in shape, but I didn't look
too closely because my euros came with them installed.
