Hmm. I got stuck, badly, on New Years Day in my Rover. But then again, I
was miles from pavement and in deep snow and grass...It took three pulls
from both ends with 12,000 pound winches to get me unstuck...

So where do you offroad the Cruiser in the NE?

Yes, we had all that...and hi lifts, etc...I got stuck a total of 3 times
due to tires not being aggressive enough for the conditions. They did fine
in snow, rocks, etc, but the tall grass, snow and mud were too much.
Was pretty fun having my Rover *winched* 30 feet up a steep incline.
Watched a Defender 90 lose it on the same hill, bounce, and fall on its
side. Bummer.
BTW, I strongly recommend an offroad adventure for any enthusiast. You'd be
amazed at what a good offroad vehicle will climb...or descend. It provides
a good pucker when you put a truck in low-low and creep down an icy slope
without touching the brakes. Touch them and you're gone.
MAC - the Audi was safe and warm inside the garage on New Years Day.
