Wonder what happened to the people behind the Taurus. Knowing that most
people run with way too little gap between cars, I'd suggest that getting
the guy behind you to lock up his brakes is a BAD IDEA.
I have a lot more fun with tailgaters, and they never know I'm tweaking
them. If someone is tailgating me, I'll very gently lift off the gas, then
get back on it, again gently...this variation in speed *always* gets a
tailgater to either back off or get out from behind me. I'm not going to
cure them of the habit...I just don't want them behind me. The slight speed
oscillation gets their attention and clears them out. Then I get back to
business.
...and trust me, when I do this, I'm *not* doing *55* in the left lane. :)
