RE: BF Comp T/A VR4

Dave,

I can't really provide a valid comparison. I know my 5kcstq with SH30's is
much better in snow than my 4kcsq with the D60A2's, but the 4kcsq also has a
lower profile tire (205/50-15 vs. 205/60-15) and a MUCH stiffer suspension,
neither of which are conducive to traction on snow or ice. The degree to
which it tramlines on dry pavement is a pretty good indicator of how poor it
will be on snow/ice. Haven't had any experience in rain with the 4k yet, but
the SH30's on the 5k are very good in wet conditions.

I previously had a stock 4kcsq with non-name brand all-season tires and it
was better than either of these cars in the snow.
I have no experience with any of the R4 (HR4,VR4,ZR4) BFG tires.

Gary,
Could you compare snow traction of these tires to Dunlop D60A2's?
Just wondering because I'm not pleased with the Dunlop's snow traction and
am about to switch to >real< snow tires. Maybe I should just need a better
all season tire.
