Ahhh! My 4kq Died! Help.

Help.
	Sorry for the yelling but Jeesh.  Its one thing after the other.
Car is basically running fine.  Little things but runs great.  Then in
traffic in the middle of line of 20 cars waiting at a 4 way stop it dies!
I try to re start.  Nothing.  Dead.
	Before it died it was idling a little rough and maybe a tad low
around 850 or so but it always does that when warm.  When cold it will
hesitate and has no power down low untill you get revs up like it is
flooding ar starving for fuel. (My Girlfriends car does this too.)  THen
once it is a little warm it runs fine.  
	Now it doesn't run.  I have spark and Fuel Pump is priming and I
can hear it running when I crank motor.  Tried un-plugging Thermo Time
Switch on Intake coolant hose into head and also tried starting with (Fuel
Press Reg??? unplugged)  the connector on the CIS distributor unit twards
the front of the car on the driver side of CIS unit.  Little Bosch
connector.  
	To top it all off, my Bently is 100 miles away as I JUST came back
to school.  
	Please, any ideas are welcome.  I am hoping it will start in the
morning but it may not. 
	Is it possable I had a massive loss of compression?  My headgasket
is going slowly as I found a LITTLE oil in my coolant but I cant see it
having a massive rapid loss of compression at IDLE non the less.  Anyhow,
I'm here all night.  I love the list.  Thanks in advance

PS: I cant wait to get the 84' running with the Turbo.  Then I'll have two
running cars to toy with.  :-)
