Starting woes...

I'm having problems starting my 87 4KCSQ lately. It will start up,
run for about 2-3 seconds, and then die. Any attempt to give it gas kills it
instantly.

A little history: I bought the car a couple of months ago and
started tinkering on it. Every time I went to the garage, I would start it
and let it warm up. Recently, I put in Eurolights. I started the car, and
the low beams were casting a dim, yellow light. Turns out I messed up, so I
corrected the wiring. Now it won't run.

I've pawed through the Bentley, but all the tests it gives require
some funky tools or harnesses. I thought the gas tank might have collected
condensation, so I added some more gas and some additive. Two days later and
still no luck. I plan on disconnecting the headlight harness just for S&G's,
but I tend to doubt it's a wiring issue since the car does start up
initially.

Any other things you fine people can think of that a newbie like me
can check easily? Coincidentally, the power locks no longer function either.
The only thing I did to the original stock wiring is to cut the connector
off the driver's side headlight for high/low signal.

	Thanks for the help!
