Re: Facom Tools - Opinions?

I did find www.facom-tools.com. (Actually, I found it just by typing
"Facom tools" into Netscape 4.5's location/go-to bar. Pretty handy.)
They say to contact their US subsidiary for distributors (I haven't):
FACOM TOOLS
3535 West 47th Street
Chicago, Illinois 60632
USA
Tel: +1 773 523 1300
Fax: +1 773 523 2103
How expensive are Facom tools anyway? My guess is very expensive,
probably too much for me.
I've been meaning to get a good set of sockets myself, to replace a
cheap set I've been using and gradually adding to. My family kindly gave
me some for Christmas, but they weren't quite what I was looking for: a
set of Husky's (from Home Depot) with more fractional tools than metric.
I'm looking for a socket set that meets the following:
- 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive
- metric only
- 6 pt only
- standard and deep sockets in all sizes
and I haven't really seen such a set from Craftsman or a few of the
others. I've been happy with my other Craftsman tools and like the
availability. It's not like I use the tools everyday--more like once a
week, since I only own one Audi!--but I would like to get a good quality
set. Any recommendations? Thanks.
