Need suggestions for Painting Motor (Long)

Subject line says it all.
I want to paint the MC Motor before I put it in the car to make it
look nice :-) I think I will just do Black since it is the easiest to
keep looking nice (I could do WHITE or YELLOW.....Just Kidding :-)
Anyhow, I dont want to pay some place to do it but I want it to last.
Here is my plan. Steam Clean it (Best friend has a Steam/Pressure Washer,
isnt that nice of him to Volunteer it :-) Anyhow, Steam Clean it with all
holes Plugged of course. Then Remove Intake/Exhaust Mainifolds and tape
over openings. Then Sand blast lightly to help remove some rust/scale
from the bad areas. Then clean quickly again to remove any sand. Then go
to store and get some Flat or Semi-Gloss Black Hi-Temp Engine Paint. Then
paint....
	Questions
	1) Will any old Hi-Temp Engine Paint last? I used some for my
Valve Cover and then ClearCoated it and the Clear Coat peels/dissolves
whenever CArb Cleaner or similar touches it. REally Annoying. I want my
paint to more impervious to chemicals. I definately wont Clear Coat this
time.
	2) DO I need to primer first like I would for a Car body or not?
	3) How many Coats
	4) Anything better to use than an Aerosol Can of Hi-Temp. I only
have access to a Touch Up gun. NOt a Full Size spray gun but a Touch Up
gun should work if I need to use it.
	5) Suggestions for color? Flat Black/ Gloss/ Semi-Gloss/ Bright
Neon Pink and Green with Gold Trim :)

Heck while I'm at it. Suggestions for Color Scheme. Car is Red
(95' Honda Red 3-Stage Paint to be exact, I know, Blashphemy but it looks
real nice) I'm thinking I dont want TOO much color under there but a
little would be nice. I'm thinking Aluminum Colored Valve Cover with
Rings in Red. Pretty sure about that one. What about TImin Cover though.
Black still or Red? Also, what about the Turbo on the Intake. Red, Blue,
Red Letters on top of Blue??? Do I Ceramic Coat INtake like Gary Erikson
on NW list did. I'll post a pic of that soon on Web Page or leave the
Natural Aluminum? BTW, All SMall Stuff is getting Powder Coated like
Valve Cover, etc. What to I do brackets in for Cruise etc. I'm thinking
small stuff in Red. I know it doesn't REALLY matter but I dont want it to
be TOO Gaudy but I want it to look nice. I like yellow but it is bright
and shows dirt REALLY Easy.
Also, I would like to paint stuff like the WG part with the Fins.
Paint them an Aluminum/Ceramic like paint. SHould I just have it Ceramic
Coated? Thats another Thread I guess. I'll read some Archives on Ceramic
Coating EM. I dont even know if we came to a conclusion on what is
better. INside, outside, Both, none. I'm talking JEt Hot type coating
here.
