Stuff for sale:
(Am I the only person getting multiple copies of last week's messages?) ;-)
Seriously - here's a short list of surplus Audi stuff I've accumulated -
I'm in Daytona Beach, figure shipping accordingly.
***Note: ANY of this stuff can be TRADED for wink wink nudge nudge!*****
1986 or 87 4K engine, represented to me as in running condition. This came
from Stott Hare (saw the tie-downs in the trunk of Julian's car yesterday,
REMINDED him that you want them back), and originally from Rob Winchell. $200
Autotranny (bad) and diff (good) for above $75 - what happened to the guy
who had a 4K and needed the diff?
Audi 5000 Halftrack wheels! (Why else would I have six of them?) Flat face
4 by 108, 14 inch "flying saucer" stock wheels for 86 vintage non-turbo
cars. All straight, all clean, have about four excellent plastic hubcaps
which go ONLY with the wheels - $35 each, all for $150.
Type 44 trunk lid - center lock type. Silver, peeling clear coat, straight,
un-dinged. Non-turbo style lights. $35 o.b.o.
Type 44 right front fender, sand beige, faded, no dents. $35 o.b.o.
ABS computer from a 1989 100 not T not Q, removed from wrecked car. $100
o.b.o.
Pair of rear brake disks 1989, surfaced, ready to bolt on. Won't fit
non-ABS cars - the "hat" is deeper on these. $45 the pair.
Blue velour interior from 86 5K. Comfort seats, heated (driver's side needs
the splice fix), front and rear seats, four door panels, headrests.
Condition probably 8 of 10 - a little faded from the sun and a two very
small holes on the driver's seat, but all in all a quite presentable
interior - easy swap to freshen up a raggedy 5000. Note that the power
seats mount differently than these manual adjust seats - so if you have
power, these won't work. $125, or interesting trades. (MartyL, are you
there? You wanted this stuff once . . .)
Non Audi: (e-mail for further information)
1995 Geo Metro 3 cyl, 45,000 miles, from an estate, asking $3,500.
Weedhopper JC-24 B single seat ultralight airplane, spare zero time engine,
all manuals. Two or three weekends work would make this flyable. $2,000.
Best Regards,
Mike Arman
