Upshift Light Works Again

I finally remembered to pick up some extra hose to use to test the
vacuum advance on my 4kq. Stuck it on there and could suck air easily.
Not good. I noticed what looks like the upshift switch right near the
distributer in the vacuum line. It was plugged in. I got a new vacuum
advance diaphram from TPC for $16, installed it, and now the light
works. The point was not to have the light working, but rather that the
non-functioning light indicates the advance unit isn't working. It
hasn't worked on this car since I got it about 4 years ago. Oh, well, at
least it wasn't eight years, right Phil.
