That's just a tiny fraction of a car's overall costs, as you should know.
By the end of a car's life, most of its costs will have been running costs-
insurance, road tax, fuel, repairs etc. At least here in Holland...

And besides that- do you know why the basic car price for you is so much
lower in Holland? You export it, and don't have to pay the new-car tax...
30 to 40% on the basic list price. Keeps list prices down, but purchase
prices up.
