audi 90 advice again...

I just got my car back from the shop with the tire and they told me that
i need to replace my strut bearings, i knew that, but also the left ball
joint, left outer cv boot, and both tie rods.  they are going to charge
me $557 with parts and warranty, or $434 if i use my own but w/o
warranty.  My question is, is there any thing i can do on my own,
excluding the strut mount/bearing i order to save some money, or should
i just have them do everything.  Oh yeah, i have a 1988 audi 90(fwd).
