Hot Wheels

     Now that the snow is gone, the snow tires are finally on the car...
     
     Tire Rack has a _deal_ on OZ Mito one-piece wheels 16x7.5, 5x112, 
     ET35, hub-centric w/ ring:  $89.  5-spoke, very open, open lug, look 
     great on the black V8.  Looks like smaller ID than the Audi 16x8 
     wheels, but they do clear the S6+ brakes; I don't know about UFO's.  
     With that kind of price, it's hard to justify steel wheels!
     
     We'll see about the tires-- Michelin Arctic-Alpin 205/55-16.  Initial 
     dry-road impression is they're quieter and softer-riding than the SP 
     8000's, and turn-in is a little sloppy.
