Gotta use your nose to track down the source, as unpleasant as that may
be... Try sniffing the AC and defroster vents. Often this is caused by
nasty growing stuff in a warm humid ventilation area - heater box or related
ducts. Taking that stuff apart is a pain. I have heard of people pouring
disinfectants into vents, but that sounds a little scary to me.
