I've got to chime in here. It just doesn't make any sense to me that after
finally getting the type 44(5000,100,200) right in '91 they discontinued it.
Very tunable and fast right out of the box, electric motor-like smoothness,
contemporary looks even today, and with the Avant you get great utility.
