Re: intersections/rights of way/ no Audi content
James, I was living in La La Land at the time, and my impression was/is
generated from the extensive coverage given the new law and the anticipated
affect on the traffic there. I have not read the law. Of course it has never
been ok to stop in an intersection against the light; that's not what I
intended to convey. The media touted the new law as a way to stop people from
adding their car to an already clogged intersection under the green or yellow
light, and, more or less, intentionally becoming part of an ever increasing
gridlock. If memory serves me, it was commonly referred to by the press as an
anti gridlock measure. (Mid to late 1980's) Are we discussing the same
legislation?
