Thanks much Gary. I'm going to weld/plane the manifold on the 10v turbo
going into my 4000q and add the support bracket. I'll take a chance on the
$70, since $800 seems outrageous given my budget for this project. I've also
heard various opinions on whether or not the 2-piece really improves flow
noticeably.

It will _fit_.  I don't know if it will _work_.  In other words, I'm not
sure it will stop stud breakage or mainfold cracks and warping on the
1-piece EM.  If you are removing your manifold to resurface and reweld, I'd
say it may be a nice addition.  It seems that repaired manifolds will
recrack but generally not rewarp (or warp as bad as the original).  I
suggest doing it _after_ EM repairs.  

If you have a virgin manifold, i.e, never been removed, adding this piece
may not improve your chances of failure.
