RE: '95 S6 Wagon

On new year's eve, I stopped by CPA Motorcars in Van Nuys to buy a bomb for
my '91 200Q from Bob Allen.  While there he showed me 2 '95 S6 avants, each
each mid to high 30k showing.  I must say, they both looked showroom new.
(I didn't crawl underneath, though)  One was a sort of bright metallic blue
with, I believe, black interior, and the other was bright red with tan
interior.  Bob said the blue one was sold, but the red one hadn't sold.  He
said there was some prejudice among people about red on that car.  I thought
it looked great.

Anyway, he was asking $34.5 for each car.  Sometimes I think his prices are
high, but in this case they struck me as right down the middle.  It would be
hard to find examples this nice for much less.

By the way, I have the bracket for the factory CD changer that goes with the
S6 avant, and also the A6 avants.  The part # is 4A9 035 113A.  If anyone is
interested, let me know.
