I've only owned two other cars with automatics, so a manual is certainly an
option. I do not think a manual transmission is even an option on the A6.
(My 850 Volvo had a manual)

I need the room. Boys are 14 1/2 and almost 11. I frequently transport my
elderly's (age 87 yo Uncle and 81 year old Mother). Need wheelchair space
for Uncle.

Do you think it's 4X4 sytem is better than Volvo's ? I have another beef
with Volvo - neither son can see out when they sit in the back seat. What
do boys do when they are driving around and can't see out? Get bored and
kill each other. The Audi will be tested on Thursday by 11 year old. Seeing
outside (and cup holders) are a must in our wild family.
