Most of the electronic dash implementations have direct grounds to the
engine, usually to the engine block. They get warm, and when they cool
moisture gets in. When they then stand for a while, it can corrode.
If you don't have any direct grounds to the engine (it's not just a
turbo thing) then don't worry about it.
