Dunno about the CVs.

The ABS sensor is at the hub and I think that sometime when the hub is
taken off and all that the sensor is not lined back up correctly.  Some
Audi's have this special procedure with a plastic cap tht you place over
the sensor and hammer it into the hub, the plastic givnig the exact
tolerance.  Phil Payne is familiar with this process, I'm not.  

Re the "sealing panel".  It's the engine bay tray.  It quiets the ambient
noise of the car and helps cool the engine by improving airflow through the
compartment.
