Re: Road Crown (85 4ksq)

OK, so now I've taken the car to a local Boulder shop that supposedly knows
these cars very well. They said the symptom is most likely an alignment
problem and they said the actual published alignment specs for these cars
are incorrect. They charge $85 for an alignment And basically assured me
that if all else up fron is well, this will fix the problem. I had it
aligned three times at a Goodyear Tire shop- probably a big mistake. If
anyone knows anything about this published data error claim, please shed
some light.

Also, any Denver/Boulder, CO area listers know of a good reliable alignment
shop that's less than $85. Thanks!

I just had my 1983 ur-q aligned on tuesday at the Tire Source in Boulder
on 30th street. All the adjustment parts were not rusted, so they didn't
have
to break out the torch get things loose. They tweeked the front and the rear
alignments for $40, they might charge more depending on what the car needs.
These guys know what they are doing and give before and after specs. They
will try to do stock setting and they get into performance alignments for
handling. Lot's of autox and race cars are setup at this shop.
Good Luck.
