5ktq afraid to rev- options

Thanks to all who responded to my problem. Here are the suggestions.

Wrong plugs- I have new W7DTCs, so this shouldn't be the problem.
High backpressure- I had thought of this, but was putting off the quick and dirty solution
(here, kitty, kitty).
Fuel leaning- I thought this might come up. When I checked it last summer, it was a little
lean (can't remember the %). I have since plugged my vacuum leaks, but haven't checked
the duty cycle again. This is definitely something I should do. Shouldn't this cause
stumbling and backfire, though?
IAT- A good suspect, but shows 700 Ohms from the ECU connector. Of course, it may have an
intermittent break only when the engine is running. No codes, though.
Low octane- I use Exxon 93 octane and get no check engine light.
Bad knock sensor- possible, but no codes set.

Ned suggested that power is relative, but this is bad by any standard. In second gear, it
probably takes 5 seconds to go from 5000 to redline. I will try to work on this some more
while the weather is warm, and write the list with my results.
