87 5ktq door locks, keyless entry

Hi,
My 87 5ktq now has three keys for total access. (Note: NOT my doing DPO!!) One
key for each door and the third for the ignition, trunk (boot) and glove
compartment (glove box). On my previous 85 VW Golf and my son's 95 Golf it was
possible to swap the tumbler "thingies" (little keys with springs) when the
tumblers went bad. Since I understand that rekeying sets are not available I
was wondering if the tumbler "thingies" could be swapped from the trunk and
the glove compartment to the two doors? Also someone mentioned recently that
they had received a wiring diagram for the J.C. Whitney keyless entry system,
is there any way I can get a copy or a description?
