re: blue cloth seat for 90q20v - repair?replace?

My father had his 86 5000S drivers seat seat bottom reupholstered, with
much success: It looks good, feels like it always did, and it was
cheaper than buying a new seat from Audi. He did have a problem getting
the proper cloth, and ended up buying M-B cloth from Germany. It looks
very nice, the color is a good, if not perfect, match (read: you can't
tell the difference unless you look closely). I don't know where he had
it done, but he went based upon a dealer's recommendation (Loeber,
Chicago).

Mike,
86 5000S (my dad "grew up" to a BMW...good for me, I 'spose)
