It didn't say "salvage" right on the title?  I had a salvaged CGT, and it 
said so on the pink slip.  I suppose he could have given you an ealier one that 
was superceded by the salvaged one.

Also, they actually did an inspection?!  I'm surprised, because I didn't have 
to get one.  Maybe they did one when the first paper copy of the pink slip that 
had the salvage note was generated.  After that it doesn't need one.
