Re: list administrivia

yeah, i'm actually really adroit with my elm
filters. i should have clarafied in the letter.

i want to get the q list in my regular inbox,
except on busy weekends and vacations. for
those times i can normally filter. what i want
to do with a [q] in the subject makes it easier
to sort messages in my (huge) inbox. it works
great for moy other lists - i *know* there's
a post in 2strokes i want to find but there's
months of stale posts in my inbox. sort by subject
and they are all put together, easy to scan.

it's no big deal, but perhaps there is some sort
of past flame war about this from before my time,
perhaps phil needs to save 3 characters per message ;)
anyway it's something that 90% of the lists i am
on do, including the 6 or so that i maintain.
