Competition Tires for 4000Q

Has anybody fitted a 4000 Quattro with competition tires, such as R1's,
008's, etc, for autocross and track events? I was hoping to use a 16" wheel
with a 215/40-16 tire, but nothing seems to be available in that size. The
closest I found is a 205/45-16 Hoosier. Much more choice in a 205/50-15 size
- anybody used this size in competition events?
