Stabilant 22 and other contact enhancers
Wow, a few years ago I contacted the manufacturer of Stabilant 22 (and 22A)
and they sent a sample along with their liturature pack. At the time my
company was considering using it on critical contacts in the equipment we
manufacture. The sample was in one of those little vials that perfume samples
come in. Looks like about 15 drops worth, or $75 worth from the dealer. :)
As to Wuerth Contact Oel, I have used it with great results on automotive
connections. The price isn't outrageous either...
On the subject of "contact enhancers", has anyone heard of a product called
Tweak? It seems this was the brand name of some potion similar to Stabilant
that I saw in the mid '80s at high-end stereo shops. I haven't really had the
stereo bug since about '89 (replaced by the Audi bug) so I don't if its still
available. Huw? Jeff?
