Dan- I have a 1990 V8, but this technique ( which I have mentioned before) is
what my factory manual sez. "push the sensor in until it bottoms, and then
retract a small amount. Spin wheel to make sure its not rubbing." This worked
for me. I don't think the air gap is all that critical. The experts will as
usual correct this.
