95 90Q Suspenstion

I'm going to be in the market for springs this spring.  Has anyone out
there had any experience with aftermarket springs for the B4 model?  On
my previous car, a 88 90Q I had Eibachs with Konis, the ride was good
but is there better?   I want to lower the car but not more than one
inch (living in New England I have to keep some snow clearance).  Any
suggestions, Spax, Eiback, Intrax....any others?
