Remember that I found less than .002" (yes, 2 thousandths) runout on my
"warped" rotors. The brakes pulsed annoyingly. I did the heat cycling
thing several times with no positive effect. My hubs had .005" runout,
which I was concerned about, but this ended up having no effect on the
brake pulsing. In my opinion, the pulsing is caused by an uneven
friction surface, rather than uneven rotor thickness or warping.
