I hate the smell of oil in the morning

I finally had my valve cover gasket replaced, which means the slow 
leaks I've had are finally over.  Unfortunately, the oil that has 
seeped out over the past few months is still there.  Needless to 
say, after driving for any length of time, I get the not so pleasant 
scent of burned oil (not in the cabin, but outside when I leave the 
car).  Is there anything I can do to get rid of this lingering oil, or is 
my best bet to just leave it and have it eventually burn off through 
the heat of the engine?  Somehow, it seems like that could take a 
while.

BTW, does anyone know of any reliable and GOOD detailers in my 
area?  I'm in southern CT.  TIA
