Re: need quick help: 87.5 CGT outer CVJs?

This was exactly what happened on my CGT when my mechanic
was taking the front end apart. Its failure to come off and the
subsequent time it took him to finally knock it off added $140 to my
total bill. From his description, here is how to get it off:

1. Somehow jam the circlip open.

2. Climb on top of the desk where the axle is held in a vise.

3. Take a sledge hammer (or a similar device)

4. Swing with all your might.
