Gee, why do you guys have such bad luck with your cars?  My 96 A4q
is going to be 3 years old as of next month and so far it has been
quite trouble-free.  The only thing that failed was the radio, and a
broken cup holder return spring.  Both of these were replaced by the
dealer under warranty.  There was absolutely no problem with bulbs,
or switches, or or any other electrical or mechanical component.
