dead battery ARGH!!

Ok....
all of this battery talk had rubbed off on my 4kq...
here's the problem I left the parking lights on for 3 and 1/2 hours...
had the rear defogger switch left ON and no other accesories on...
no clock, no anything DEAD...
Is this the famous rear defogger leaky circuit?
BTW, I have an Interstate MT-41 less than 1 yr old...
checking it with a hydrometer tonight..

QUESTION.....
can the parking lights really flatten a battery to no charge in 3-4 hours?
I am going to run the car for a solid hour @ lunch so hopefully it will
start when I get off @ 6pm...

BTW... What is good/avg/bad On the hydrometer (never had to use it b4)
