Re: Euro Headlight Relay/Wiring Question?
I have installed the Vortrag harnesses and have the Denon relays with fuses
as well. I would recommend the Vortrag harnesses over the Denon ones.
Vortrag much more waterproof and heavier duty and with all the connectors.
The Denon ones are single relays with fuses with a non-waterproof setup and
lighter gauge wire and no connectors, actually a Bosch low voltage starter
relay.
The Denon ones could be used, but you need at least 2 and then you will be
using one relay to control both the right and left highs or the right and
left lows. Otherwise you will need to buy four of the kits. You will still
need all the connectors and wire...The wiring diagrams are out there if you
check out Chris Miller's or Scott Mocky's or some of the connecting sites.
Igor Kessel has a wiring diagram out there that I found through one of the
sites mentioned above.
Todd, IMHO, is a better deal if he can meet the demand for the orders.
If anyone in the New England area is interested in 2 sets of the Denon
relays send me an E-mail privately. I have 2 to dispose of. I also have one
set of DOT assemblies for sale as well, keeping one just in case...
