I had one _H@LL_ of a fight to get a fair value for my car.  Six weeks
fighting an insurance company valuation of GBP3500 when the cars are
changing hands at GBP13000.  Providing evidence of current price
levels may have helped but it seemed like things really went my way
just after I casually mentioned that I was discussing their attitude
in an Internet forum.

Name 'em and shame 'em.  Let the rest of the enthusiast world know who
these slimeballs are.  Let's be fair - the claims adjuster is on their
side, not yours.  A compelling reason must exist.
