Any good muffler shop should probably be able to make a cheap generic muffler
(like a Super Turbo or something) fit with some pipe bending and some hanger
welding. But I've never looked underneath a V8. Maybe it's like the mid-muffler
on my QSW- it's so odd that you just can't do that. (I ditched the mid-muffler
on my QSW when I found out that it would be approx. $500 from the dealer. $20
later, it was gone, and a piece of pipe in it's place).
