"Gas Ryder" would be Gabriel, I believe. People might disagree with me,
but I think they're just as good as the original Boge. I don't actually
think that the original Boges are always that good (it varies from model
to model a bit). I've had a few Gabriel Gas Ryders in my time, and
they're tolerable, not bad really. And they have a lifetime guarantee,
which the Boges do not. However, it goes without saying that Bilsteins
are a whole different ballgame. No comparison. And, of course, Boge
Turbo or ProGas are also much better than Gabriels. It all depends what
you're doing with the car. If you're looking for an OEM replacement
shock, not a performance upgrade, then the Gabriels are as good as any,
in my experience.
